Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District is looking for a full-time Technology Support Specialist. This position is a 10-month (school year), 8 hour/day position located at our District Office. Employees accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, Lawndale ESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. Lawndale ESD also provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skills would be: Experience: Two years of experience in a technical support or computer lab role that involved the set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of Macintosh and Windows based computer systems, or demonstrated personal experience that would show the capability to fulfill the job qualifications set forth above. Education: Required - High School diploma, GED or higher degree supplemented by training, coursework or related experiences in computer-assisted instruction, computer operations or information systems, business applications, or educational applications. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid driver's license, and use of personal vehicles for travel as appropriate. A+ Certificate preferred Bilingual in Spanish preferred Current LESD Employees (excluding substitutes): Should submit a completed Reassignment Request form, including any position prerequisites to reign_endo@lawndalesd.net on or before the closing date and time.
