Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director responsible for the District's Technology program, installs, maintains and supports computers, mobile devices and servers; Local Area Networks (LANs) including wireless (wLAN), educational technologies, communications hardware and a variety of software applications; assists with the coordination of the district's computer information function; provides technical assistance to District personnel and performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent and four years of computer and network related course work at the college level or such alternative that the Personnel Commission may find desirable; and three years experience managing end user and infrastructure equipment in a networked environment including wireless and supporting software. Required certifications or equivalent experience: CompTIA A+, and/or Network+; Apple Certified Associate: Mac Management and/or Apple Certified Support Professional; Microsoft Technology Associate: IT Infrastructure; Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Certified Google Apps Administrator. Desired certifications: Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE), Desktop Infrastructure certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP, Google Apps Deployment Specialist. License: A valid Class C California Driver License. Other: An automobile to be used in the course of work that meets the current legal requirements for vehicle operation in the State of California, including proof of insurance. A DMV driving report is required prior to employment.
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) full-time position working 8 hours per day, 12 months per year.

Please note: On October 15, 2021, Governor Newsom issued a new public health order requiring all school staff members to either show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or be tested once a week for COVID 19. Upon employment, new employee will be asked to show verification of COVID-19 vaccination or be scheduled for weekly COVID-19 testing.
