Job Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) reports to the Director of Special Education. The BCBA works in cooperation with the Behavior Support and Intervention Teams at the school sites and/or District; participates in the development of a coordinated positive behavior intervention program; consults with school principals and staff concerning appropriate learning strategies and positive behavior interventions in order to support students to access instruction and to make academic progress in the least restrictive environment.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Required Bachelor’s and Master’ degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field • Valid California Class C driver’s license (Do Not Attach to application). • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification (BCBA). • Current Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) • ABA or similar research-based experience and training. • Bilingual in Spanish preferred. • Experience working in K-12 educational setting within specialized field of Applied Behavior Analysis with increasing levels of responsibility CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance, a tuberculosis clearance and proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
