Job Summary
Job Summary
The State Preschool Associate operates under the supervision of a State Preschool Teacher (as applicable) to provide care, instruction, and supervision of children in a County-operated State Preschool program. The State Preschool Associate also assists in the preparation and presentation of activity plans and assists in record-keeping. (In the absence of the State Preschool Teacher, the State Preschool Associate is expected to perform the full scope of State Preschool Teacher duties.)

NECESSARY MATERIALS FOR APPLICATION • Completed EDJOIN application (incomplete applications will not be accepted); • Copy of Child Development Associate Teacher Permit – OR – transcripts verifying applicable units with the ability to obtain a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit upon employment; • Copy of valid Pediatric CPR certificate and valid Pediatric First Aid certificates; • One (1) current letter of reference (dated and signed within 1 year). Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and provide all necessary materials online prior to the stated deadline in order to qualify as a candidate.
