Under direction, plan and provide a school health program to meet the unique needs of pupils and provide support to instructional and student services staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must hold or be qualified to hold a California Preliminary Credential authorizing services as a school nurse (possession of both a bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, and a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California). (Please provide a copy of the credential document as it appears on the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing website with the document number on it.) Must possess a current American Heart Association BCLS certificate.

Applicants are responsible for submitting a completed electronic employment application, letter of introduction, resume, copy of credentials (please provide a copy of the credential document as it appears on the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing website with the document number on it.), and three current letters that are dated and signed within the past 12 months. All required documents must be submitted electronically with your application.
