Job Summary

DEFINITION Under general direction performs a variety of specialized complex, technical and professional duties involved in the analysis of financial transaction, serves as a technical resource to staff regarding accounting and budget information, prepares a variety of State, Federal, and District financial records and reports; and performs related work as required. CLASS CHARACTERISTICS This is a specialized supervisory technical position, working independently with little direction performing more advanced fiscal functions relating to budgeting and accounting; serving as a lead to accounting staff and an integral resource to Business Administrators. Assignments require the use of professional judgment and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices.
