Comments and Other Information

Do you have a passion for teaching students while enjoying the flexibility of class rotations? Did you know that for the 2021-22 school year, those holding a Sub Permit can now be in a classroom for up to 60 school days vs the traditional 30 days? Springs Charter Schools has created a new position, the revolving substitute. This revolving substitute will be assigned on a full time basis to a nearby school site(s) where the role will be to fill in for a teacher on a daily, weekly, long term basis or assisting where/as needed. The revolving substitute will be guaranteed work, whether instructing or assisting in the classroom or in any other capacity where there is a need, and the great news is that this position qualifies for full time health and wellness benefits and CalSTRS retirement. Our schools offer parents a choice between traditional homeschool environment for their children or a 2-5 day "blended" model which integrates traditional classroom instruction with home study. See job description to review the duties and responsibilities. If you are a career substitute and/or looking to gain experience in the classroom while also having the added perk of full benefits and CalSTRs retirement, we want you to apply today and partner with us as we transform a child's educational journey. Notes: * Springs Charter Schools adheres to all California Department of Public Health mandates to ensure in-person instruction at campuses and administrative operations are conducted in a safe manner consistent with state and local public health guidance. * Upon hire, candidate(s) must submit a copy of their vaccination card or agree to participate in free weekly paid COVID testing at any of our site locations or an approved testing facility. * Springs Charter Schools reserves the right to close this position at any time.
