Job Summary
We are looking for an innovator and creator to teach Art at Los Osos Middle School (grades 6, 7 & 8). This position requires either a Single Subject Art credential, or other credential with a Supplemental Authorization in Art, or 20 semester units in Art. Preferable, but not required - Bilingual in Spanish, experience in Graphic Arts. This is a part time job, 0.6 FTE, hours 10:30am - 3:15pm, Monday through Friday. We are looking to fill this position as soon as 11/29/21. Los Osos Middle School has a rich STEAM program where students engage in exploratory and elective offerings which include experiences such as: Coding, Bakerspace, Game Board Design, Graphic Art, Makerspace, Video Production, Mock Trial, Music Production and Recording, Robotics, and more. In addition to providing students with opportunities for relevant 21st century learning that articulates with our high school CTE Pathways, STEAM provides our teachers with an opportunity to be creative, share a passion with kids, and even learn a new skill themselves.

If you are from out of state, please attach a copy of your out of state credential. An English Learner authorization is required.
