Job Summary
The Elementary School Lead Teacher (K–5) provides a Christ-centered educational program under the direction of the site administrator. This role is responsible for delivering rigorous, engaging instruction across core subject areas while fostering students’ academic, spiritual, and character development. The Lead Teacher collaborates closely with faculty, communicates consistently with families, maintains accurate student records, and contributes to the broader life and mission of Horizon Prep, all to the Glory of God.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Possession of a Baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Successful completion of a student teaching experience or approved internship at an accredited college or university. Credential: A valid teaching credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing or other approving authorizing states to service in the assigned area.
