Position Summary We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate School Counselor Interns. You will gain the practical experience necessary for a successful career in school counseling, including providing direct services for students. You are a patient optimist - you understand that it takes time to build trust and see growth in students. This role reports to the Director of Student Services and Special Education. Responsibilities -Observe counseling sessions led by experienced ACE counselors. -Provides individual and group counseling services. -Assist with school-wide programming to support social-emotional education and development. -Participate in any meetings related to school counseling and special education. -Follow mandatory reporter protocols when necessary. -Other duties aligned with the growth and development of a future school counselor. -Maintain the unwavering belief in the extraordinary potential of every student. -Maintain a growth mindset with all stakeholders. -Communicate effectively and respectfully with all stakeholders. -Approach professional development (training, observations, coaching and feedback) with commitment and reflection.
