Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent AND: * Prefer experience working with children. * Knowledge of general needs and behavior of children; playground supervision and safety principles. * Knowledge of English language, understand and carry out both oral and written directions. * Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with adults and children. * Ability to maintain schedules providing for regular supervision of students as assigned. * Work outdoors in all types of weather; ability to work cooperatively with others. * Two (2) letters of reference. * To be considered all requirements must be attached when submitting the application.
Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process in order to be considered further. WRITTEN EXAM: WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2021 - TIME TO BE DETERMINED (Date and Time may be subject to change) PERFORMANCE TEST: DATE TO BE DETERMINED An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until less than 3 applicants remain on the list. If FIVE (5) applicants are permanent employees from the Lancaster School District and demonstrate the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis.
