Requirements / Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree is required. Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Credential: Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Experience in on-line services and ability to transition to providing services in person as needed is preferred. Prior Special Education teaching/subbing experience and charter school experience a plus. Note: Out of state Teaching Credential will not be considered.

A virtual assessment will be administered to all qualified applicants. Must upload the required documents - upload the attachment named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) AND complete the Target Success Teacher Sketch or you will not be considered for this position. Allow 45 minutes to complete the Teacher Sketch.

Through a hybrid of virtual and minimal in person service, we are looking for an innovative, creative, flexible candidate to work without special needs students in one of our personalized learning environments. At Springs Charter Schools, we are serious about creating significantly better learning opportunities than are available within the traditional public school system. Our Special Education department is rapidly growing and currently we have openings at several of sites throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties. Applicants must hold a current California Education Specialist Instruction credential - Mild/Moderate or Mod/Severe.
