Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required: A recent typing certificate (within the last 6 months) showing net wpm of at least 50 wpm net corrected to be considered for an interview. It is the candidate’s responsibility to obtain a typing certificate. Please attach a copy of your valid typing certificate to your application. Due to job posting deadlines and staffing considerations, we cannot accept typing certificates emailed to us directly or dropped off in the Personnel Office. A valid certificate may be obtained from a government agency, temporary employment agency, business college, adult school or a public school system. Amador County Unified School District does not accept typing tests taken from the Internet. Please be sure the test is within the last 6 months. A current resume and letter of introduction is desired.
