The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) is recruiting for a substitute/limited-term Custodian- Outdoor Education as needed in the Outdoor Education Program. Cuyamaca Outdoor School is located in the beautiful, 25,000 acre, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park in eastern San Diego County.

Under general supervision, maintains assigned school buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition; acts as site security and hosts weekend and summer clients.


This position requires a combination of education, training, and experience which clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities detailed below. A typical qualifying background would include six (6) months of experience performing general custodial work, OR completion of formal custodial training.

In addition, if you apply and are selected for a permanent position at any point there would be an additional $77 cost (currently) for fingerprinting as a permanent employee (taken out of your first regular paycheck).
