CCES Special Education Teachers work with students with a variety of special needs, from learning, behavior or social to access and work towards meeting IEP academic and behavior goals
Job Description / Essential Elements:

CCES PT Provider will;
• use their expertise in movement and apply clinical reasoning through the process of examination,
evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention.
• Write present level of performance and generate goals for IEP and attend IEP and present
report findings.
• Provide direct service to individuals with physical challenges and needs.
• Provider services to students K-12th grade
• Treat conditions related to genetic, developmental, neurological and orthopedic disorders and
make recommendations
• Promote health and wellness as they implement a wide variety of support for children from
infancy through adolescence in collaboration with their families and other medical, educational,
developmental, and rehabilitation specialists.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum qualifications to be considered: • Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe Credential. • Preference is given to candidates with Special Education and Welligent and/or SEIS experience. • Proven ability to work with individuals with severe language, learning, emotional and behavior • disorders. • Must demonstrate an interest in furthering professional development and training, experience • with individuals and/or families with exceptional needs. • must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ. • Must be willing to travel to different locations to service students. • Must have knowledge of service delivery online for virtual work.
Preferred qualifications include: • Proficient in the use of modern technology and office equipment. • 1-3 years of experience in education. • Bilingual in English/Spanish/Sign Language preferred, but not required. • Experience in ELPAC Testing
