Requirements / Qualifications

General Description of Position Goals Responsibilities include consultation and collaboration with the ERMHS (Educationally Related Mental Health Services) Mental Health Program Manager and CHANGE Center therapists to provide behavioral support to students who are receiving ERMHS services, are being considered for a referral for an ERMHS Assessment or are currently enrolled in the Emotionally Disturbed/Behavior Program. Behavior Interventionist will act as a liaison between the CHANGE Center staff and school site personnel to assess pre-referral students with behavior challenges and to reinforce interventions being introduced to students who are currently engaged in the therapeutic process. Behavior Interventionist will model interventions and support teacher (s) and staff in delivery of the interventions and monitor fidelity regarding intervention implementation. Education and Experience Required: Education: Master’s degree preferred Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with students with behavior disorders. Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: - Experience working with students with moderate to severe behavior challenges, across age groups - Experience in consultation and collaboration with staff and peers as a multidisciplinary team member - Has certification or is in the process of obtaining a Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certifications Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing: TB Test Clearance Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance First Aid and CPR certification In order to be considered for this position ALL required documents must be attached to your online application by the posted deadline, failure to do so may result in disqualification.
