Job Requirements: Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing service as a School Social Worker. OR Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing service as a School Psychologist or School Counselor. AND Valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences license permitting service as Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Educational Psychologist. Comparable out of state license and the ability to apply for California BBS license in one of the aforementioned areas. OR California Board of Psychology licensure. Job Duties: The Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) Specialist provides ongoing support for students with educationally related mental health needs. Knowledge of social emotional learning, strategies, and behavioral supports is highly desired. The ERMHS Specialist will provide individualized support to students and staff based on documented needs in both behavioral and social emotional domains per students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) so that students can better access the curriculum and instruction, foster prosocial interactions, and build relationships. In addition, the ERMHS Specialist will provide advisory support to intensive social emotional based specialty classes including but not limited to assessment, behavior support, curriculum support, and IEP attendance. Hours: Part-Time: 10-20 hours per/week with potential to increase to full-time status.
