MESD is a TK-8 district, operating five neighborhood schools: Green Hills Elementary, Lomita Park Elementary, Meadows Elementary, Spring Valley Elementary, and Taylor Middle School. All our schools have an active PTA/PTO supporting school-based programs. Our Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) is a parent-led organization providing support for music, physical education and STEAM education for all five of our schools. Under the general supervision of the Food Services Supervisor, plan, organize, participate and supervise in preparation and serving of food; assist in marinating food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition; perform cashiering, point of sales, and record-keeping duties; conduct inventory.
Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of Introduction Resume 2 Letters of Reference (must be recent, written within the last 2 years) If Valid: Food Service Handler's Certificate (candidate must have or be able to obtain a Food Service Sanitation Certificate within 6 months of employment) Please attach all required documents to your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered or accepted.
Upon receipt of a complete application inclusive of required documents, you will be contacted by the Millbrae School District. A mandatory skills assessment exam will be arranged and administered by the District office. If hired, applicant must be fingerprinted for both the DOJ and FBI, which will also be arranged by the District Office. Applicant will also be required to provide negative TB results taken within the last 6 months. If not currently certified, applicant will also be required to obtain food safety certification within the first 6 months of employment.
