Job Summary
The Assessment and Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) Program Specialist is under the supervision of the Director of Special Education. S/He will need to hold a valid PPS school psychologist credential and will support the assessment team; coordinate crisis response and crisis intervention; coordinate ERMHS assessments and services with ERMHS providers; collaborate with the MTSS coordinator on the Tier II and III social/emotional/behavioral supports; assist in the intervention process as a member of MTSS team; support in IEP meetings; provide consultation to education to staff regarding SEL/behavioral issues; and perform other related work as required. Responsibilities: Review assessor reports and provide feedback Consult and collaborate with educational staff regarding students with emotional and behavioral needs, in accordance with all directives, standards, procedures, policies, laws, rules, regulations, codes and guidelines As applicable, process Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) referrals Assist in the intervention process as a member of the MTSS team Support ERMHS providers Support school wide social emotional learning and tiered levels of intervention Support school wide positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) and tiered levels of intervention Provide Tier II collaboration for mental health support/skill groups for students Participate in MTSS and 504 meetings Consult on the composition of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
-Applicants must hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) in School Psychology
-Valid Driver's license
-Ability to travel as needed for assessments or meetings
Upon hire, the applicant would need to provide proof of TB clearance and DOJ fingerprint clearance (Live Scan).
