SCOE Class/Mngmt Application ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: DOJ Clearance/FBI/CACI, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance, Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance & DMV Pull Notice. Mandated Reporter Training is required within the first six weeks of employment. INTERNAL APPLICANTS: During the Edjoin transition, all applicants will temporarily use the same application. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the supervision of a Director or Manager, assists in identifying funding opportunities; assists with or is responsible for, the development and writing of grant proposals; gathers, analyze, and evaluate a variety of data to determine its use in grant proposals; advises on strategies for obtaining outside funds; works with staff to structure and propose new activities for funding; may assist or lead meetings; prepares background materials as needed for meetings. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of 5 years of professional proposal development grant writing experience with a successful track record of funded proposals; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
