As this is an STNC position, please note this is not an on campus student employment position, so typical eligibilty requirements do not apply to this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under general direction, monitor the use of designated areas to ensure District safety and health protocols are followed as established. Monitoring may take place indoors or outdoors and would include the responsibility of ensuring capacity and record keeping of space utilization; may be required to do general clean-up between uses and daily set-up of spaces; communicate information about general use and make recommendations for any actions needed to enhance safety and support of the area.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.1. Provide general campus and space use information to students, faculty, staff and visitors; may triage referrals to appropriate District services.2. Support oversight of space use and safety protocols in assigned area.3. Monitor the entrance and exit of designated areas for the purpose of maintaining capacity limitations and keeping a record of visitors.4. Ensure that individuals who are utilizing designated areas follow established District health and safety protocols such as necessary social distancing, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and other protocols developed to protect the health and safety of staff, faculty, students and visitors including those with disabilities or other functional needs.5. Participate in training as applicable, including District and public health protocols and trauma informed care.6. Provide general reports to supervisor regarding space utilization.7. May be responsible for daily setup and general clean-up of spaces.8. Work with District staff to ensure adequate supply of PPE for assigned areas.9. Work with District staff to provide information regarding positive cases of infectious diseases.10. May provide temperature and verbal symptoms checks.11. May supervise student employees.

KNOWLEDGE OF: 1. Standard office productivity software.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: ? High School Diploma or equivalent. ? Some previous work experience in a public setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
