Valid Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability Valid license by California Board of Behavioral Science as Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist.

SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Support Services, the Coordinator – Mental Health is responsible for the administration of the District’s mental health services and community mental health services for clients ages 0-18 with Medi-Cal. This position monitors compliance regulations and oversees administrative functions for the program, including clinical supervision, program and staff development, clinical consultation to District staff, students, parents and families.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Possession of a Master's degree in degree in counseling, psychology, clinical social work, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in mental health service delivery and administration with specific experience in supervision, program development, management, evaluation, budget and staff recruitment.
• Two (2) years of experience managing a Medi-Cal program.
• Experience in a private or governmental agency providing direct mental health related services to students, which should include identifying patient mental health needs, using community resources, and student advocacy.
