SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Principal/Special Education department, provide designated special education students enrolled in the Adult Transitional program with job site and employment training and guidance in the enhancement of vocational skills; visit job sites to oversee and monitor progress of students placed in on-the-job worksite training experiences and other vocational activities; reinforce independent living and self-help skills instruction to assigned students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college level course work in education or related field and (1) one year of experience working with students with special needs in an educational or learning environment.. **PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK ABOVE TO READ THE COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION** Valid Driver’s License, Evidence of Insurability and print out of H-6 (good driving record documentation) are required at time of employment. CPR and First Aid certification are required within 30 days of hire. Upon offer of employment you will be required to pay for fingerprint processing. Passage of a TB clearance & pre-employment physical exam, including lower back x-rays, is also required.
