Job Summary
Physical education teacher who is passionate about elementary physical education, serving students in underserved communities, and who can empower students to explore and grow to their maximum potential. In addition, plan, grade, and facilitate grade-level physical education classes to students in grades TK/Kindergarten through fifth grade and assist in other school programs/activities as assigned. Have high expectations for all students. Plan Lessons aligned with the CA Physical Education Content Standards Supervise morning recess and lunch supervision in the yard when needed. Set up equipment for morning/lunch recess. Help with taking playground/PE inventory. Engage in regular data analysis and reflection to provide instructional opportunities that are responsive to students’ needs. Provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student as needed.
