This position is an "on call, as needed" assignment providing classroom instruction when a regular teacher is absent.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Completed EdJoin application 2. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation (must be signed and dated within one (1) year) 3. Hold or be eligible for: a. California teaching credential, or b. 30-Day Substitute Teacher Permit (Bachelor degree or higher from a regionally-accredited university, satisfy basic skills requirement), or c. Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers (90 semester units from a regionally-accredited university, verification of current enrollment in a regionally-accredited university, satisfy basic skills requirement) 4. Three (3) Professional References including at least one (1) current supervisor (provided on application) NOTE: It is the applicant's responsibility to attach required materials.
