Requirements / Qualifications
Edjoin application, letter of interest, resume, letter(s) of recommendation, copy of credential and completion of Teacher Sketch questions are required of all applicants. An invitation to complete the Teacher Sketch will be received upon completion of the application. Please attach all documents to your Edjoin application in pdf format. Initial Salary Schedule Placement:
Class/Column: Placement determined based on number of post-graduate university semester units taken after BA/BS Degree at an accredited institution.
Step: A school nurse shall be given salary schedule credit for previous school nurse experience and/or non-school RN experience on a year for year basis up to a maximum of fifteen (15) years.
The District is willing to consider candidates with a BS Degree and a RN License that qualify for a Preliminary School Nurse Credential. Applying to obtain the preliminary credential is required prior to first day of paid service.
This position is eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus. This bonus is paid 1/2 in the first paycheck and 1/2 upon completion of the 2nd year of service as defined in the collective bargaining agreement.
