Job Title: School Nurse (Clear Credential or Preliminary) JOB SUMMARY: Performs all California student mandated health screening. Maintains health records and makes student referrals when appropriate. Provides health counseling for parents, students, and school personnel. Informs teachers/administrators of physical or health liabilities of students. QUALIFICATIONS: (CLEAR CREDENTIAL) Current registration as a registered nurse in California. Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a valid California authorizing services as a school nurse, or qualifies for a state credential. Possess a California driver's license. (PRELIMINARY CREDENTIAL) Possession of a baccalaureate or higher degree from a accredited college or University and a valid Registered Nurse's license by the State of California. Holds a School Audiometer Certificate.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must hold a valid California School Nurse Services Credential or a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Degree or higher from an accredited college/university and a valid CA Registered Nurse (RN) License and must agree to enter and complete a CA Commission-approved School Nurse credential program. Please include copies of college/university transcripts and a copy of your credential or letter of eligibility. Additional Requirements: *Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation/Reference Letters
