The High School Registrar assumes primary responsibility for the technical and clerical recordkeeping duties and functions related to the permanent academic records at an assigned high school.

You will be directed to an off-site application once you select CLICK HERE TO APPLY OFFSITE. This is an open opportunity open to interested candidates. This recruitment will be used to establish an Eligibility List for the current High School Registrar vacancy as well as any future vacancies. This list will be active for three (3) months with the possibility to be extended. The following position is currently available: iHigh Virtual Academy (Area E) 40 hours per week, 11 months per year. This position works onsite at the Ballard Center near Old Town Position Schedule (for any future vacancies): Positions in this classification typically work 10 or 11 months of the year. Set schedules for positions in this classification might vary but are typically 40 hrs per week. Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District Paid health and wellness benefits for employees and dependents. Salary Schedule OTBS, Grade 32

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A combination equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, including at least two years of experience in a school setting performing student recordkeeping duties and involving extensive public contact. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS A copy of a typing/keyboarding certificate for 40 words per minute (*), net corrected speed on a five-minute timed test is required by the application deadline. On-line certificates are not accepted. Possession of a valid California driver's license and availability of private vehicle may be required for designated positions (mileage expense allowance provided). *This classification requires that incumbents be skilled in typing/keyboarding at a minimum of 40 words per minute. Due to the current COVID situation, at this time, a typing certificate is not required and a typing test will not be given. Applicants must certify in writing that they have such skills. Demonstrated proficiency will be expected during the probationary period for the class.
