Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Degree or working towards a degree in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Education or other related fields. Enrolled in or graduate of a technical college or university. Adults who have a 2 year or 3 year post-high school degree and who are interested in working with middle and high school students. College students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 evidenced by college transcript. College students must have a minimum of twenty (20) college credit hours. Must include the four (4) items listed below in order to be considered for the position of Avid Tutor:

  • Copy of Transcript
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must submit three (3) current letters dated within the last 3 months)
  • Resume
