Under the direction of the School Site Administrator, the high school Special Education teacher is responsible for the education of assigned students and will create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth in Special Day Classes and/or in the general education setting.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must Possess an Appropriate California Credential(s): Education Specialist, Mild/Moderate - Documented subject matter competency in math - such as Math authorization, Single Subject Math CSET (subtests I & II), coursework, VPSS, etc. - English Learner Authorization - Autism Authorization A complete application file consists of: -Cover Letter -Certificated online application through EdJoin -Current Resume -Three letters of reference -Transcripts or other documentation of subject matter competency. *Signing & Renewal Bonus of $15,000 total. $5,000 bonus per year for the first 3 years of employment* Additional details available through Human Resources.
