Utilize various software programs such as Adobe, SeamlessDocs, google Docs and Canvas Utilize course descriptions and study guides that have been approved by the Board of Education, California state curriculum frameworks and appropriate learning activities to teach the curriculum necessary for students to: *Graduate from high school *Participate in Regional Occupational Programs and work experience programs *Acquire a work permit Create contracts reflecting District and State standards. Maintain the textbook collections for each course of study and contract and monitor application of the supplemental instructional materials for enrolled students. Order supplies and monitor inventory based on teacher/student needs. Monitor attendance and report absences. Report attendance to District Attendance. Report academic progress and attendance to parents and to the principal. Work as a liaison between the home school and home school transfers. Counsel parents by phone or in person regarding the effect or strategy of Independent Study for prospective students. Provide testing as needed Evaluate applicable high school transcripts. Act as a mentor to students. Assist the principal in counseling and discipline of students. Diagnose pupil needs and develop lesson plans for individual pupils according to needs. Evaluate pupil progress and prepare progress reports to be shared with pupils and parents. Provide counseling services for pupils regarding social and family relationships, educational goals, and employment planning.
