Job Summary
The Induction Specialist assists Teachers, which may include mandatory participants and/or participants in the Center for Teacher Innovation (CTI) Induction Program, through demonstrations, observations, coaching, recommending conferences or workshops for teachers and other appropriate activities that will support the Teacher. The TSN strongly encourages a cooperative relationship among the Induction Specialist, administrator, and the participating Teacher with respect to the process of peer assistance. This assignment may require work beyond your normal workday/hours.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Current status as a permanent contract teacher with SBCSS; • Completed three (3) years of successful teaching experience in an Alternative Education and/or Special Education setting with SBCSS as of June 30, 2021 • Possession of a valid California Clear Education Specialist and or Clear General Education credential; .
