HTH seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team, and assist in providing support to staff. JOB SUMMARY The HR Coordinator will support staff across High Tech High’s regional office and schools. This role drives efficiencies in all HR related items, to include, but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, hiring, and benefits. The HR Coordinator will not only support employees of High Tech High, but will also collaborate with the department in various projects and data maintenance of employment records.

Essential Duties Recruitment Coordination ? Assist in routing open position request forms and posting positions on various platforms, as needed ? Ensure completion of a hiring plan and coordination of interviews for particular positions ? With the help of Hiring Managers and the HR team, assist in creating and revising job descriptions. ? Maintain candidates stages in applicant tracking system ? Monitor and track the substitute teacher management system Onboarding & Hiring ? Complete reference checks for potential hires ? Confirm that candidate meets requirements for position ? Confirm salary/placement for each candidate, draft offer letters, and route offer letters appropriately ? Send paperwork and requirements to new hires and process all incoming documentation in a timely manner ? Enter employees into the HR system and assist in benefits enrollment ? Ensure new hires complete all new hire requirements prior to start date Employee Inquiries & Records Maintenance ? Manage the HR email inbox by responding to emails, providing resources/information, and/or appropriately directing employees to the proper department/staff member ? Provide answers to employee inquiries as they relate to HR records, employee profiles, handbook etc. ? Support answers to questions related to benefits ? Send and track annual trainings required for all new hires and current employees ? Process credential applications for certificated teachers and assist with all required documentation to keep records current Communication & Engagement ? Manage internal HR website for employee engagement ? Create and distribute the monthly HR newsletter ?
