Under the supervision of the Maintenance, Operations and Transportation Manager, performs assigned custodial, grounds and minor maintenance duties for the specific school(s), site(s), and locations; and other related duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. One year work experience as groundskeeper or custodian. 3. Valid California driver’s license. 5. Pesticide applicator certifications must be obtained within 130 days of employment. Desired: 1. Knowledge of the procedures required to install, repair and maintain irrigation systems.

Grade 22: $17.21-$24.54 per hour. Range represents steps 1-13. New hires typically start at step 1 unless they possess five years of similar experience. Maximum step at hire is step 3.
Length of Work Year
School year, 192 paid days per year, 8 hours per day, M-F, 7:30am-4:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. *hours may vary, some evenings & weekends.
