JOB GOAL: Provide theory and clinical instruction to students required to pass the CNA certification examination. (Part-Time/ Days)
Requirements / Qualifications
• Current California R/N or LVN License • Valid California Career Technical Education Credential or Adult Education Credential authorizing Instruction in the nursing field, or meets credential requirements to apply • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in nursing with at least 1-2 years experience working in a Long-Term Care Nursing Facility as an R/N, LVN, or LPN • Qualify and apply for the California Dept. of Public Health CDPH 279 form and receive approval before beginning assignment
Applications must include a brief statement which includes an overview of experiences, education philosophy, talents and skills; a placement file or a minimum of three letters of reference; an appropriate credential or equivalent, and any other items which may support your candidacy for the position. Resumes are highly desirable. Employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice.
