Job Summary
The job of Early Childhood Teacher is done for the purpose/s of supporting the educational process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires community college and/or vocational school degree with study in job-related area. Relevant experience, education, certificates and/or licenses may be substituted. CERTIFICATES: Requires Associate Teacher Permit, valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certificate. TRANSFER CANDIDATES: All employees of Sanger Unified School District holding the title of Early Childhood Teacher who request a transfer will be granted a site interview. The Director of Classified Personnel will forward all qualified applicants to the Preschool Program Director for final interviews and selection. SELECTION PROCESS: The process will include screening of all applications and permits to ensure that the minimum qualifications are met. The Director of Classified Personnel will forward all qualified applicants to the Preschool Program Director for final interviews and selection.

- Child Development Permit - Associate Teacher (Associate Teacher Permit)
