
Interim Public Relations Manager at Presentation High School
Job Summary
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the person in this role will help lead communication efforts in support of the school’s strategic goals and mission. This person will work closely with the Director to drive the school’s strategic communications plan and messaging while developing and posting content, designing online and offline materials, and coordinating the production of materials.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field • 3-5+ years of experience in similar role • A commitment to the mission and educational philosophy of Presentation High School • A willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Presentation community • Experience in education or nonprofit preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of CMS website platforms and use of basic HTML
• Experience developing and managing social media marketing programs within social media managers (Hootsuite, Co-Schedule, SmarterQueue)
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and has an awareness of graphic design principles and practices. Comfortable using other graphic design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Spark.
• Experience using e-newsletter platforms such as MailChimp and Constant Contact
• Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for social media. Detailed knowledge and expertise around all social platforms.
• Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
• Available and willing to work occasional after-hour events
• Video editing, production, script writing, or directing experience a plus
