ATX Learning is hiring School Psychologists for our sites in Simi Valley vicinity. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing organization. Responsibilities: • Recommends appropriate diagnostic practices and advises school teams regarding eligibility for Special Education. • Interprets assessment findings, completes psychological reports, and communicates conclusions in a clear, concise manner to members of the IEP team. • Develops and administers comprehensive evaluation batteries appropriate to the age and suspected disability of the child. • Maintains records in a manner consistent with state and local procedures. • Provides consultation services for students with educational difficulties and participates as a member of the school's Intervention Team. • Assists the Director of Special Services in developing in-­-service training programs for school personnel and parents when assigned. • Conducts applicable research regarding student achievement and/or psycho-­-educational issues as assigned by the Director. • Collects student data and prepares reports as required. • Interprets and promotes District special programs, related services, and their purposes to school personnel and the public. • Participates in developing new procedures, maintaining compliance standards, modifying service delivery systems, and assisting the Special Services Department to increase program efficiency.
