POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Administrator, IT Support & Operations is done for the purpose of managing the projects, the work, and supervising staff servicing the Riverside County Office of Education’s (RCOE) technical support and operations throughout the county where technology services are provided in a variety of environments. The position is responsible for oversight of daily business and technology support operations being provided county-wide to school districts, community colleges, and RCOE programs. This is designated as a classified management position and is part of the Management Leadership Team. This position is under the supervision of the Director I, Data Processing and Network Services. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Five years of progressive full-time experience in the field of information technology required. Three years of stated experience must consist of supervising and evaluating the work of a minimum of five people as well as financial or budgetary responsibility. Management experience preferred. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. Experience beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted year-for-year for the minimum educational requirement. Master’s Degree is preferred.
