The Southern Oregon Education Service District Family Support and Connections (FS&C) is hiring an Intervention Specialist. Inclusion Specialist to market and deliver “Warm Line” services to support high quality inclusive early learning environments that meet the needs of all children. The Warm Line Inclusion Specialist responds to requests for resources and assistance from child care directors, teachers, family child care providers, parents, and partners in Jackson and Josephine Counties within two business days. The Warm Line Inclusion Specialist has the opportunity to make a real difference in our early learning community. For child care providers it can be difficult to appropriately meet the needs of children experiencing special needs or challenging behaviors, but it is so important for all children to have the benefit of high quality early learning experiences. Having a caring, knowledgeable professional to call on for support and guidance can make all the difference. If you are committed to this goal, are able to work independently, have a wealth of knowledge on supporting inclusion through effective strategies and techniques, are able to form strong positive relationships, and have experience with marketing and outreach, we would welcome your application. Southern Oregon ESD is located in the Rogue Valley, the cultural and economic heart of southern Oregon, home to legendary snow-skiing, white-water rafting, kayaking, hiking, fishing, as well as numerous cultural venues and events such as art galleries, the Britt Music Festivals, the Ashland Independent Film Festival, and the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
