Belmont Oaks Academy, an independent K-5 school located in Belmont, California, is seeking to fill a fourth-grade head teaching position for the 2022/2023 academic school year. Belmont Oaks Academy's goal is to provide a strong academic program within a positive and nurturing educational environment. Candidates must be self-motivated, kind, loving, professional, creative, reliable and diligent. A head teacher is obligated to create a classroom environment that instills a life-long love of learning and growth in their students. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching and enjoys building enriching curriculum that engages students using a range of instructional methods. Excellent classroom management skills are essential as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team. JOB DESCRIPTION: Plan and implement student instruction designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth needed to meet the goals and philosophy of Belmont Oaks Academy. Position is full-time (40 hours) with a great benefit plan including paid vacation, sick/personal time, and 401K.
