Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements for Applying MATERIALS EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Must hold or be eligible for Designated Subjects Vocational Teaching Credential; or equivalent. Must have at least 3 years of occupational experience, one year of which must be within the last three years to satisfy the recency requirement. - Completed Edjoin Application - Cover Letter - Resume - 3 Letters of Recommendation from Current or Recent Supervisors - Copy of Valid Credential

Teacher, Video Production CTE Pathway, .6 FTE (Pajaro Valley High School) The Video Production CTE Pathway at PVHS is a two course sequence where students acquire the design, technical and production skills needed in the film and video industry. In addition to the myriad of dynamic and interesting opportunities for students to acquire and apply their learning, this pathway at PVHS benefits from the school’s partnership with the Youth Cinema Project where students in late elementary through middle school engage with the acquisition of creative and technical skill building leading to high school within an integrated English 9 and English 10 course. This teacher will experience students new to the subject area as well as students who have had engagement with film and video production for several years. This CTE pathway also has the opportunity to work collaboratively with additional pathways at PVHS on interdisciplinary projects school-wide. The teacher must already hold or be pre-qualified to earn a CTE credential in the Arts, Media & Entertainment Industry Sector.
