Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District has an immediate opening for a School Site Social Worker. This position is a Management level position that accumulates 12 paid holidays per school year as well as one sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD pays 100% health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance) for employee. Dependent coverage is available at a cost to the employee. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum requirements include: - Masters in Social Work, Counseling or related discipline - A valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential (see CTC link for details) - LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred - Minimum three (3) years of successful experience performing pupil personnel services, social work, teaching, and/or related functions in a school setting - Possession of a valid California Driver's License - Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier - Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Required attachments to your application (pdf works best): - Letter of Interest/Intent - Current Resume - Copy of your valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential - Three (3) recent letters of recommendation with at least one (1) letter from a supervisor who evaluated you
