Job Summary

A vacancy exists for Para-Educator of Special Education in our ASD Program at Riverbend (Grades 1 - 5) to assist the teacher in the instruction and care of students with disabilities, including management of student behavior, record keeping, instructional assistance, medical care, classroom organization, and interaction and communication with students, support staff, parents/guardians, and agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must have completed one of the following at the time of hiring: an associate’s degree (or higher); or, 48 semester units of higher education; or, passing score on the paraprofessional exam (exam administered at our office – see receptionist for details).
