The persons selected for these positions will be responsible for helping to plan and implement lessons and classroom management techniques. A patient, understanding, firm, and encouraging personality is a must! ***QUALIFICATIONS: A fully qualified Early Childhood Educator has completed Twelve (12) college units of child development coursework with a grade of "C" or better, including child development, the child in the family and community and a curriculum class. Six units plus currently enrolled is acceptable. Fully-qualified teachers will have six months or more of experience working in a early childhood education center. EDUCATION: Associate Degree OR completion of 48 or more semester units or more toward a degree in Child Development or a related field, including completion of three (3) units of infant-toddler care. CHILD DEVELOPMENT PERMIT: Teacher Permit or higher. A typical way to obtain these competencies and abilities would be: a.
