Requirements / Qualifications
In order to be considered, applicants must submit the following by the final filing date: Completed Ed-Join Application Cover Letter Resume Current Letters of Recommendation Minimum qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Must have obtained: 1) High School degree; 2) Associate’s degree or higher, or completed two years (48 semester units) of study at an institution of higher education, or must pass District adopted test meeting State and Federal rigorous standards; and 3) One year additional training or experience working with students in a structured classroom or equivalent setting is required. Higher education may substitute for experience. Licenses and Certificates: TB Test clearance, Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance, and valid ARC First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificates. Paraprofessional Test must be completed/passed prior to: June 29, 2021. SUMMARY Provides a variety of instructional, clerical, and group behavior assistance to one or more teachers. Works in classroom settings to support teachers by providing instructional assistance to individual or small groups of students. May provide other support services such as clerical and translation. Assists teachers and staff in development and use of materials to enhance the student learning experience. The District offers $620 per month toward the benefit package which includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus.
