Assistant Teaching Position Wonderful, progressive NPS in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant teaching position, in our Elementary and Middle school. The position involves working with students with learning differences in grades 3-8. Applicants must be organized, professional, collaborative, positive and creative. Strong preference given to candidates with a California Teaching Credential, experience in literacy instruction, Language Arts specialists (Linda Mood Bell, Orton-Gillingham or Wilson trained)and experience working with students with learning differences. The position has the possibility for growth and expansion of responsibilities. The Assistant Teacher is responsible for supporting the Head Teacher in managing all classroom responsibilities for a group of students with a variety of special education needs.
