RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.

Requirements / Qualifications

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Coordinator, Community Engagement is responsible for managing the coordination of countywide events, activities and award ceremonies. The incumbent is responsible for all aspects planning for events including but not limited to State of the Education, Student Academic Awards, Operation Recognition, Employee Recognition, Management Leadership Team Meetings, Administrative Council Meetings, Administrative Assistants Meetings. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four years of successful professional level experience planning large scale workshops, events or programs. Experience planning events/programs within an education setting is desirable. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations or closely related field from an accredited college/university required. Master’s degree is desirable.
