Background: The Garden Grove Unified School District, a nationally recognized urban district, holds extremely high expectations for our students and the adults who serve them. We are passionate about preparing our culturally and linguistically diverse students for college success and beyond and searching for a School Psychologist Intern who shares our common mission, to serve as a member of our collaborative K-12 team. A School Psychologist Intern will work under the direct supervision of our district school psychologists, and with our school site teams. Their primary responsibilities will be to carry out the duties as related to the function and role of a School Psychologist such as but not limited to psycho-educational assessments and evaluations. Additionally, School Psychologist Interns will apply psycho-educational principles and techniques that they have learned in graduate school and as directed by their supervisor(s) to GGUSD educational programs. They will support GGUSD by addressing learning and developmental issues.
