Job Summary
Job Summary
Permanent Track position. Assignment will be at Roseland Accelerated Middle School, Roseland Collegiate Prep, and Roseland University Prep. Definition: Under the direction of the superintendent or designee, the School Based Therapist provides educationally related and mental health support to students and acts as an advocate for the implementation of effective services at multiple sites. The School Based Therapist works closely with community agencies and school site counselors to access appropriate services for our students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Psychology or a related field (i.e. LAMFT, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC). 2. For Clinical Interns, actively and appropriately participate in a minimum of one hour a week individual supervision and two hours a week of group supervision approved and accepted by the Board of Behavioral Sciences. 3. Minimum of 2 years prior experience working in education, mental health or a related field. 4. Excellent communication and writing skills. Licenses and Other Requirements 1. Fingerprint and TB clearance 2. Valid CA Driver’s License (Driving is an essential function of the job) 3. Travel to the district’s school sites, meeting or training venues. Desired: Bilingual English/Spanish Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (2-3 current letters)
